Until June 30th, every Visa Kapitalbank cardholder has the chance to win a bag containing one kilogram of cash.
The first lucky winners of the 'Kilogram of Money' have been announced. This is the name of an unprecedented drawing that began on February 1st among Visa Kapitalbank cardholders who made purchases totaling 200,000 soums or $20.
A random number generator selected the winners on February 27th. On March 1, the first five winners collected their prizes during the live broadcast of the Boriga Baraka program on Zo'r TV.
Each participant was given the chance to choose one of 20 bags filled with money, each containing exactly one kilogram of banknotes of varying denominations. The value of the banknotes in each bag ranged from 2 million soums to 94 million soums.
Neither the participants nor the host of the drawing knew which bag contained how much money. During the show, the lucky hunters were repeatedly offered the chance to change their decision in the hope of winning even bigger prizes. To ensure fairness, the studio audience was able to participate in the search for the most valuable bag, but none of the applicants guessed correctly.
Azamat Tokhtaev was the first winner of the 'Kilogram of Money.' His bag contained winnings of 10,520,000 soums.
The 'Kilogram of Money' drawing from Visa Kapitalbank will be held monthly, and the campaign will last until June 30th.
