"Kapitalbank" promises new gifts to Visa card holders
Another set of five cash prizes totaling almost 100 million soums were drawn in the fifth and final round of the “Kilogram of Money” lottery promotion, which was held from February 1 to June 30, 2024 for holders of Visa Kapitalbank payment cards. More than half of the total amount went to one of the participants of the drawing.
According to the organizers’ conditions, anyone living in Uzbekistan could get a chance to win a cash prize if during the promotion period, he had paid for purchases in the amount of over 200 thousand soums or $20 or more with a card Visa Kapitalbank. Data about customers who had been interested in the promotion was sent to a random number generator, which monthly selected five players to participate in the live broadcast of the "Boriga baraka" program on the Zo’r TV channel.
During the TV show, each player had the opportunity to guess a bag containing a cash prize on the game reel. Banknotes of various denominations had been hidden in the bags. As a result, cash prizes with the same weight of one kilogram had different values. In the final show, one of the five players was able to guess a bag containing a kilogram of banknotes totaling 50 million soums. Two more participants in the July drawing received 20 million soums each, the remaining two won 5 million and 2 million soums, respectively.
Only in one of the five rounds of the promotion, the super prize of 94 million soums has been won, although the players themselves, the TV show host, and the audience in the studio could see every time how close the participants were to the coveted winnings.
