Change of interest rate on deposits and opening a new deposit

We would like to inform you that as of June 7, 2023, changes of interest rates for deposits “Daily interest on Visa”, “Daily interest on Visa (off-line)” and “Daily interest on Visa (to account)” will come into force.

It was:
Daily interest on Visa — 20% per annum (14% — reference rate of the Central Bank of the RUz +6%)
Daily interest on Visa (off-line) — 20% per annum (14% — reference rate of the Central Bank of the RUz +6%)
Daily interest on Visa (on account) — 20% per annum (14% — reference rate of the Central Bank of the RUz +6%)

It became:
Daily interest on Visa — 21% per annum (14% — reference rate of the Central Bank of the RUz +7%)
Daily interest on Visa (off-line) — 21% per annum (14% — reference rate of the Central Bank of the RUz +7%)
Daily interest on Visa (on account) — 21% per annum (14% — reference rate of the Central Bank of the RUz +7%)

Opening of a new term deposit “Sprint USD”

Conditions of the deposit:

• Minimum initial deposit amount - USD 100;
• Term of the deposit - 3 months without automatic prolongation;
• Deposits can be made/interest is paid:
  • in an online form with payment of interest;
  • in offline form with payment of interest.
• Interest rate - charged on the amount deposited for more than one banking day: - 6.5% per annum;
• Interest payment is made on a monthly basis on the date of opening the deposit;
• Additions to the deposit are allowed while the same rate applies for additions that is currently applicable to the original deposit;
• Withdrawal of part of the deposit is not allowed;
• Early closure of the deposit is allowed on the following conditions;
• Early withdrawal is allowed. In the event of early withdrawal during the deposit period, the depositor will be entitled to the amount of accrued interest at the rate of 3% per annum. The rest of accrued interest will be deducted from the deposit amount;
• If non-resident opened a deposit and non-resident income tax was withheld from the deposit in accordance with Articles 366 and 382 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the amounts withheld from the client are not recalculated.

The amendments will come into force on June 6, 2023
