Kapitalbank Implements Eco-Zone Project: 14 Eco-Friendly Spaces Open Across Uzbekistan

As part of Kapitalbank’s 25th anniversary celebrations, the bank has implemented the large-scale social and environmental project Eco-Zone Kapitalbank, successfully launching the first modern urban spaces.

The Eco-Zone project combines an environmentally friendly approach with technology-driven infrastructure, offering residents practical and in-demand spaces for leisure, study, and work. The bank has chosen to focus on practical initiatives aimed at developing the urban environment and improving the quality of life in the regions. To date, 14 eco-friendly zones have been created as part of the project: 4 in the capital and 10 in key regions across the country.

Modern recreational spaces are now available in all regions where the bank has branches: Eco-coworking spaces operate in Tashkent, Samarkand, Urgench, Andijan, and Nukus, while Eco-Zone Family spaces have opened in Termez, Namangan, Fergana, Karshi, Kokand, and Bukhara.

Each location has been designed as a modern urban space featuring environmentally friendly technologies and convenient digital solutions. Solar generators help provide clean energy, while eco-friendly materials make the spaces safer for the environment. As a result, ordinary green areas are transformed into modern and comfortable places for leisure, work, and everyday life, where sustainability goes hand in hand with convenience and modern technology.

«The opening of these spaces across the republic is a natural continuation of Kapitalbank’s environmental initiatives within the framework of the bank’s ESG strategy during our 25th anniversary year. We strive to integrate green solutions into everyday life and create spaces where every resident of Uzbekistan can comfortably work, study, and relax», — said Oksana Lyndina, Advisor to the Chairman of the Bank’s Supervisory Board.

The project demonstrates how businesses can create a modern and comfortable environment for future generations while gradually introducing environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions. Such initiatives help Kapitalbank not only develop infrastructure across the regions, but also foster a responsible attitude toward natural resources and the environment throughout the country.
