The Supervisory Board of Kapitalbank JSCB has approved the appointment of Madina Yusupova and Akmal Yakhyoev as Deputy Chairpersons of the Management Board.
Both began their careers in entry-level positions and have grown within the company, steadily developing their expertise. Today, they hold key leadership roles within the Bank’s management.
“These appointments will provide additional momentum for the development of strategic business areas,” said Maksud Abdusamadov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Kapitalbank JSCB. “What is particularly important is that both Madina and Akmal have grown within Kapitalbank. They understand the Bank’s internal processes thoroughly and embody its culture and values. Madina Yusupova holds a Master’s degree in Banking from the Tashkent Financial Institute. She began her career at Kapitalbank in 2009 as a specialist. Over the years, she has worked in asset and liability management within the Treasury Department, in the foreign exchange operations division, and as Deputy Branch Manager for both retail and corporate banking. Prior to her current appointment, she headed the Bank’s OPERU branch. In her new role, Madina will focus on developing the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) segment.
Akmal Yakhyoev is a graduate of the Tashkent Financial Institute. He joined Kapitalbank in 2011 as an intern and quickly progressed from a corporate lending specialist to Director of a Department. Since 2019, he has led the Bank’s Sergeli branch. In 2021, Akmal was awarded the “30th Anniversary of Independence” Order for his contribution to the development of Uzbekistan’s financial system. In his new role, he will be responsible for advancing the Bank’s corporate banking business.
